The XRAY team attended the annual DHI Cup in Odense, Denmark. This event is always the first one of the year, and thus a nice start of the season. We kicked off the year by finishing as the runner up in two classes and multiple A-main finishes. The luck wasn't on our side this weekend but we have done a good job to achieve the best possible results.

In modified I gradually improved my pace throughout qualifying to start 4th on the grid, just behind my quick team mate Adrian Berntsen. The finals featured too many incidents for us so both me and Adrian couldn't really make the best of our paces. I think that I deserved at least podium but it wasn't to be.

Marek ČernĂ˝ long looked like he would take TQ honours in the stock category. Marek came short by a few hundreds as Oliver Franke from Germany snatched the win in Q4. In the finals, Marek did everything he could to match the leader, but a flawless race for him gave no chance to pass. Marek would finish as the runner up after finishing 2nd in two of the A-finals. Manuel Wagner from France also made the A-final for XRAY.

In 4WD off-road, Martin Bayer put in a very strong performance, TQ'ing practice and coming very close to TQ'in qualifying with his XB4. In the finals, it was a very close race with Jörn Neumann, where Martin took the win in A1, but came short in A2 and A3 to finish in a strong runner up position.
